Rainy Labor Day in Maine

Today we journeyed out in the heavy rain in search of New England Clam Chowder:
Mabels Lobster Claw in Kennebunkport has been in operation since the 1950's.
This is what it would look like on a sunny day.
What should I have?
Thick, creamy clam chowder - yum!
Lobster risotto served in scallop shells - the Queen loved it.
Joni had Arctic Char - it is from the salmon family - great!!!
Raspberry pie & ice cream - almost forgot to take the picture it was so good.
Waiting for her driver

This is what it looked like out the window - heavy rain & fog so some picture below are from the internet.

The Wedding Cake House in Kennebunkport

Walker's Point - The Bush compound.

The end of the tourist season - everyone is heading south - thanks for visiting our state!

After a long ride in the traffic jam we stopped for a treat before going home.

 Good Night.
