Governor John Langdon House - Sunday

On Sunday we toured the Governor John Langdon House in Portsmouth, NH - He was the first governor of New Hampshire. He was born on a farm in New Hampshire and with his brother became very wealthy building ships and exporting goods to England.  George Washington visited this house during the Revolutionary times.



There was an exhibit on display in two of the rooms of photographs by Steve Rosenthal, he has been photographing old New England churches since the 1960's. He started his career as an architect  and switched to architectural photography. Here is an example of his work:

After the tour we had Bacon, Basil and Tomato sandwiches with homemade hash browns.
